WHAT IS GREENCYCLE?
|
GreenCycle is the environmental brand of True Volunteer Foundation (TVF). In recent
years, there is no doubt the environmental question has been the one which everyone
wants answered. Environmental issues have a broad spectrum and GreenCycle will focus
on two areas within the environmental debate:
1. Reducing the ‘carbon footprint’ – initiatives which reduce waste and promote
re-use, composting and recycling, as well as the promotion of new carbon reduction
technologies.
2. Conservation – conserving and protecting the natural habitats and the creatures
within them.
TVF will focus on these two areas through Education. The environmental debate is
a relatively new one and education is required to demonstrate the benefits of being
efficient with energy and the environment. TVF believes that political lobbying
will also be a key element, however, this is not an area of expertise for GreenCycle
and therefore this will not be a focus for the charity.
