The Pandithitta School opened in 2005 and currently teaches over 230 children. There is no other school in this very rural area of India. Most of the children and their families live out in the forest under shacks or old tarpaulin sheets.
With no science lab the school was not able to receive crucial government recognition and status.
In October 2011, TVF raised the vital funds needed to set up a fully working science lab that will enable Pandithitta to become an accredited school. The new science lab will allow hundreds of children to have a full and nationally recognised education.
“Heart full of thanks to True Volunteer Foundation. TVF’s love enabled our children to widen their knowledge in science”.
